Every now and again a design slips off our radar, somehow this original Aero design has been missing from our range for over 20 years despite being one of our best sellers during it’s 1986-1993 production run. Perhaps this style was forgotten during the insatiable demand for The Highwayman in those early days of Aero but the recent trade-in of an original has rekindled our determination to put this handsome jacket back into full production.
The fit is somewhere between our1950s Half Belt and a waisted Highwayman, same basic pattern and length, the waist is drawn in by an elasticated section set behind the leather in the side panel, the high yoke and four pocket design is both stylish and practical. Twenty years ago these were always fitted with a Donegal style Tweed lining and we’ve located the perfect wool Tweed in a famous English Mill for the reintroduced model, a dark blue Tweed for black and a brown version for the other shades of Horsehide.
Heavy Alpaca Wool is available as an upgrade if required
We feel the style is best suited to our tumbled horsehide but is available in the full range of Leathers.
