The design of our new 1930s half belt reflects the enforced austerity brought on by The Great Depression. With money and resources stretched to their limits, jacket manufactures were very conscious of saving as much leather as possible when designing a new jacket.

The fit is slim and neat, and, typically of the era, most of the seams on this multi panel jacket are triple stitched which adds to the strength and the unique character of the jacket. Our jacket is lined in heavy duty moleskin with cotton drill sleeve lining for ease of wear, the pockets too are lined in moleskin and even the label is true to the style fitted to the original jackets from the 1930s.

Our version is fitted with a “Hookless” grommet zipper as standard.
