An authentic U.S. Navy deck jacket from the Cockpit USA archives inspires our Far East Cruise CVW-9 Leather Jacket. The original garment was a squadron member’s keepsake from an extended peacetime cruise aboard the U.S.S Constellation between 1974-1987. CVW-9-consists of 9 fighter Squadrons that over the span of 65 years, has embarked on engagements in the Korean and Vietnam War, as well as Operation Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. These years of experience explain the Wing’s motto” Basic Tactics, Flawless Execution. Made of hand treated veg goatskin giving your jacket a “broken in” appearance, while also making it durable enough for years of wear. Embroidered with beautiful golden letters spelling out “Far East Cruise” this jacket will become a conversation piece at any gathering. Made proudly in the USA for the maverick man.
