The Cockpit USA C-44 sheepskin flight jacket was created with one mission in mind: versatility for cold weather use. Inspired by the standard issue M-444 and M-445 worn by US Navy Pilots in the 1930s and early 40s, our C-44 men’s sheepskin jacket features a similar design used during WWII in the battle for the North Atlantic against German Submarines. This tonal-brown sheepskin is tanned to “antique” as you wear it. Featuring contrasting leather sleeve guards on the elbows, a buckle throat latch and two front pockets with side entry access. This sheepskin pilot jacket is perfect for cold mornings that turn into warm days, a functional style that is a more wearable option to its heavier counterparts like the B-3.
